After four days at REC- Internationales junges Filmfestival we started the awarding ceremony. Lots of guests and visitors were there.

First the councillor of the district Berlin-Schöneberg, Oliver Schwork came on stage, complimented the dedication of the filmmakers and the festival-organising team. And he promised a further financing of the festival next year.

Then partners from other festivals in Europe gave nominations for films they had seen on the REC-Filmfestivals. After that the Jurys announced honorary mentionings.

The media-pedagogical Clipof the REC-for Kids-Festival went to Studio DA from St. Petersburg, for their beautiful films and even more for their great work with kids in hospitals and orphanages.
The further Clips went to „Der Handtaschenräuber“ and „Aggro Life Style“.

The International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film gave the DOKU-Clip to the film „We pick it up“

The Clips of the REC- Internationales Junges Filmfestival went to „Andersartig“ from Dennis Stein- Schomburg , „Shame and glasses“ from Alessandro Riconda, „Los Demonios“ from Carlos de Miguel  and „Der Tag der Sonne“ von Christian Denkhaus, Hendrik Denhaus, Kilian Helmbrecht, Lukas Helmbrecht. The film „Goliath“ from Ozan Mermer received an honorary mentioning.
