The 28th REC-Filmfestival will take place in the wonderful ufaFabrik in Berlin-Tempelhof from the 18th to 22nd of September 2019.
The deadline for submissions to the REC Film Festival 2019 was 20th of June. Further submissions are no longer possible.
A total of well over 600 films from 35 countries have been submitted!
From all the films submitted, a pre-jury made the selection for the programme; there are 79 films from 19 countries.

Competition: REC Internationales junges Filmfestival (films from youth, age 16 to 27)
Wednesday, 6 p.m. (afterwards: Opening ceremony)
Thursday + Friday, at 7:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
Wednesday, 8:15 p.m.: Opening ceremony
Competition: REC for Kids (films from kids, age 6 to 15)
Wednesday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.: for visitors from age 6 to 10
Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.: for visitors from age 8 to 11
Thursday, 11:00 a.m.: for visitors from age 9 to 12
Friday, 11:00 a.m.: for visitors from age 13 to 15
Saturday, 2 p.m.: Family program
Saturday, 4 p.m.: Awarding ceremony, the juries will present the Golden and Silver Clips. The „International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film“ will give the „Doku-Clip“ for the best documentary. And the „Ziegler Film“ production will give a hands-on training at their next production of a cinema/TV film.
Afterwards the awarded films will be screened.
Sunday, 11 a.m.: Brunch for all filmmakers

„Jurassic Park 8“ (staged by Metaversa, for kids age 6 – 15)
„Radiostudio“ – make your own radio program (staged by Outreach-Jugendradio)
„Professional film production“ – a lecture by Ziegler-Film
„A self-confident appearance as a filmmaker“ with Lisa Zielke
„Director & Actor in feature film“ with Lisa Zielke
„International Exchange with films from twin towns“
