REC for Kids
Bella Gurevich was born and spent her childhood in Moscow. At the age of 8 she moved to Hamburg where she later began her acting career in productions like DIE PFEFFERKÖRNER. During her studies she already worked for NDR and ProSieben. Today she is a freelance actress and media educator and works with children (also refugee children) and teenagers on films, radio plays and many other media projects and teaches international students at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg. She also directs the video competition „Bettermakers“ of the Hamburg Initiative for Human Rights and is project manager of the media competence center Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. In the past years she coorganized the Children‘s Rights Film Festival Berlin/Brandenburg. Currently she is also doing her doctorate in film studies at the Free University of Berlin. Her favorite film is I ORIGINS.
Johannes Disselhof was born in Berlin in 1978. Since 2000 he has been working in various areas of f lm production, mainly as assistant director. From 2004 he studied feature f lm direction at the Hochschule für Fernsehen and Film Munich. In 2009, he won the Young Talent Award of Filmstiftung NRW & Tele 5 for the We-Love-Cinema-Spot THE GREAT ESCAPIST. In 2012 he received his diploma in f lm direction. Since 2012 he has been working as a freelance dramaturg and author. In 2019-2020 he was a scholarship holder of the Academy for Children‘s Media. Johannes Disselhof writes, learns and lives with his family in Berlin.
Wenka von Mikulicz
Wenka von Mikulicz is a film dramaturge. She has accompanied several materials for the Boje Buck production, including HÄNDE WEG VON MISSISSIPPI, KNALLHART und SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT, all directed by Detlev Buck, and developed for dcm pictures the four very successful feature films for BIBI & TINA as well as the BIBI & TINA series.
Detlef Fluch was born in 1961 and grew up in Buxtehude. While studying journalism at the FU-Berlin, he discovered his love for documentary film, and worked as a tutor for video practice seminars. Since 1989, he’s been doing freelance work in the documentary field as cameraman and editor, mainly for MDR, RBB and Arte productions. His main fields of interest are: contemporary history, migration and psychiatry. His filming take place abroad regularly, including Alaska, Georgia, Guatemala, Israel, Ukraine and Mongolia. Since 1992 Detlef has been working for the „International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film“, at which he is responsible for cinema supervision and moderation. He has been with the REC-Filmfestival since 1992, and was in charge from 2000 to 2019. He also teaches camera and video technology at the Beuth Hochschule Berlin and the Film University Babelsberg.
